Visit to Medina Azahara Archaeological Site

The students at the plurilingual section visited Medina Azahara Archaeological Site as an end-of-term activity. It was the 12th of March 2008.
We, their teachers of English, Ana Cabello and Inmaculada Gañán were their guides. We wanted them to learn about our city's Muslim Heritage.
We had the visit prepared for our tourism students who had been tourist guides for a group of American Experts on Immigration within a project our school is involved in sponsored by the US Estate Department.
We used a worksheet and a DVD to prepare the visit in class. During the visit the students had to answer the worksheet and fill in a glossary.
The students behaved very well. They easily understood what we explained in English and were able to answer our questions.
We enjoyed the visit very much!
